Enjoy the freedom of a natural lifestyle

Smell that air. Reach for that cloud. Take in yet another sunset.
Dawson’s Landing is a community that’s been specially created to allow families to experience a close connection with nature. There’s always something fun to do, from swimming, skating, and fishing at the lake to picnicking in the future eco-park while learning about wetland preservation. And it’s all as little as 22 minutes from downtown Calgary or the airport.

Explore the wonder

of the future wetland.

Live within walking distance of almost 30 acres of protected future wetland. Your family will never grow tired of exploring the low-impact trails, pathways, boardwalk, and viewing areas near your new home. Signage will provide educational information on wetland rehabilitation and preservation as well as on environmental sustainability, so you’ll always be learning while you play.

The First residential

community to build stormwater kidney.

Dawson’s Landing will be the first residential development in Canada and the World to implement a Stormwater Kidney™. The system cleans stormwater by circulating the water through spaces with a diverse ecosystem of plants and aquatic creatures so that nutrients contained in the stormwater nourish the living organisms.

Stay connected with the

Dawson’s Landing Owners Association

DLOA has been established to preserve the long-term value of the community while enhancing the overall community experience. DLOA is responsible for the care, maintenance, and development of certain features in the community. This will include area beautification projects, ongoing communication to the membership, and organized community-based events. This is covered by an annual owner association fee that is registered on homes and other properties. DLOA is also an important means of building community pride and unity amongst residents. Active involvement is an excellent way to meet fellow owners, and an opportunity to help shape the community’s future through planning and input. To find out more about DLOA, please click here.

Say goodbye to
traffic

You’ll spend a lot less time in the car when you come home to Dawson’s Landing.  Access downtown Calgary or the airport in as little as 22 minutes and hit Calgary’s southeast industrial area in 12 minutes or less. Home is a two-minute drive to the Rainbow Falls shopping centre and a four-minute walk to Chestermere Bike Park. In 15 minutes, you can drive to the designated East Lake elementary school, and there are two school sites that will be developed within the community.
